APULIA (2) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 1m2 1/2f in the G2 Ted Van Heemst Stakes at this track last time out. Should be getting home hard and is sure to be tough to beat. BUCKETS RIDGE (5) built on a nice third two starts back in the LR A J Scahill Cup at this track with success over 1m3f in the LR G. A. Towton Cup at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is one of the key runners. FILTHY HABITS (9) turned in a solid run last time when boxing on to finish second in the LR A T A Stakes at this track. Looks suited first attempt at the trip and may be worth another chance. STORMAGEDDON (15) started at 3/1 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 2. 25 lengths, at this track over 1m3f. Backmarker who keeps coming. Can feature in the finish.
