COSMIC CRUSADER (5) has two wins and two minor placings from four starts this campaign. Found a couple better last start in the G3 RJ Peters Stakes at this track over 7½f. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. ASPHALT (10) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a long neck last time out over 1m at this track. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. YONGA LASS (6) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 5 lengths away in ninth over 7f in the G2 Lee Steere Stakes at this track. Fitter and deserves another chance. AZTEC RULER (2) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth, beaten a neck, over 7½f in the G3 RJ Peters Stakes at this track. Change of rider to Chris Parnham who has six wins when aboard. One of the better hopes.
