WESTBOUND (9) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 7f at Geraldton two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. RUBENS' CEILING (8) came from well back on the corner to score last time out over 7f at this track. Likely to feature. MOHEGAN RULER (3) did his best work late and finished third last time over 6f at this track, beaten 1. 5 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves his chance. MY AUTHORITAH (7) resumed over 6f in the LR Belgravia Stakes at this track last start where he drifted back early and didn’t threaten, finishing 12th. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Can do better than last.
