COONDLE (3) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 15 lengths into ninth over 6f at Belmont Park last time out. Better than last start and worth another chance. PROMISING (5) is a progressive galloper who is when resuming since finishing eighth over 5f at Pinjarra four months ago which was the only run of that prep. Fitter for recent trials. Takes on a tougher assignment but expected to measure up. SPICY THANG (9) faded late last time over 5f at Belmont Park after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fourth. Winning rider Chanel Cooper sticks. One of the contenders. MANTUA (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in eighth over 5½f at Northam. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
