MEAN MACHINE (6) finished fourth last start over 7f at Pinjarra after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. PLAYING QUEST (8) wound up strongly last time out to finish a head adrift in third over 7f at Bunbury. Among the leading chances. SPECIAL SORT (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fifth over 1m at this track two weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SAIL SESSION (10) turned in a strong run last time when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a long neck into second over 7½f at this track. Will be doing his best work late.
