Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. SCORPION RULER (6) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 3 lengths over this trip at Mt Barker. Has a sound record at this journey with two wins and two minor placings. Definite winning hope. HIT THE JACKPOT (5) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led until they straightened, eventually finishing fifth and beaten 2.25 lengths over 6f at this track. Sure to be hard to catch. FRANTIC WAR (2) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when sixth over 5½f at Albany, beaten 2 lengths. One of the main hopes.
