FUNCHAL (6) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 7f at Bunbury eight weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. NORTH FACE (2) is on the quick back up after sitting on the pace and boxing on well to finish second at Bunbury 10 days ago. Good effort last start and is capable of taking this out. TACTICS (3) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish a nose away in second over 7f at this track. Tricky draw to overcome but does have good gate speed. In a suitable race and can play a major role. CAVALLO RED (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 6f at this track, finishing second and beaten a head. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
