EARTHSTORM (7) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 7f here last time. Well placed and the one to beat. KING HIT (2) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when 11th over 1m in the G2 WA Guineas at this track. Expected to do much better this time. BLACK ORA (8) steps up in trip and is backing up 10 days after finishing third at Belmont Park. Good effort last start and she can sneak into the finish. WHAT'S THE POINT (5) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by a nose over 6½f at Pinjarra last start. Cannot be underestimated.
