MAGNUM OPUS (1) bounced back to form with an authoritative victory at Pontefract (1m). Could take some beating under a 7lb penalty with his yard in fine form at present. T'CHALLA (4) battled on nicely landing a 1m Windsor maiden on her third outing. Must enter calculations now sent handicapping. Adopting first-time cheekpieces looks like an interesting move for GLOBAL ASSET (8) who is due to go up 3lb for finishing second at Nottingham six days ago. EBT'S GUARD (3) also makes the shortlist.
