FORTUNE'S LUCK (5) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 7½f at this track. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. MACK MACK (1) resumed over 7f at this track last start where he drifted back early and didn’t threaten, finishing 15th. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Among the winning hopes. SHAKA ZULU (2) has recently been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a fifth over 7f at Geraldton. Will find this tougher but is one of the contenders. PLAY WITH DESIRE (3) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 7½f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
