ICE PICK NICK (4) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the turn before winding up in third over 6f at this track, beaten a head. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. REAR ADMIRAL (7) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success over 6f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Likely to be in the finish again. Group 3 placegetter LACED UP HEELS (1) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw when resuming last time out then found the line strongly to grab third over 5½f at Albany. Has a strong record at this course, scoring two times from four starts. Should be thereabouts. ALMIGHTY CLASS (5) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5f at this track. Winning rider Jarrad Noske sticks. Strips fitter and deserves respect.
