MASTER GEE (6) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 1. 3 lengths over 5¼f at Inverell. Among the top chances again. ENSIGN PARKER (2) has been in good form, scoring three back at Beaumont (Newcastle) then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing third over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Nicely placed to take this out. HAIKU STAR (3) was thereabouts two starts ago before a disappointing ninth most recently over 5¼f at Inverell. Should be poised just off the lead. Should be involved in the finish. BRIGHELLA (10) finished third last start over 6½f at this track when he made late ground, beaten 1. 4 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Should be about the money.
