ZOU DE LAGOS (7) is a seven-start maiden who finished 12th at his most recent appearance over 1m at Gunnedah after he was well back on straightening. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. BILL PEYTO (3) was in the money two starts back at Bundarra but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, at Inverell over 7f. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MY GEM (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Has the talent to take this out. A TENT HUT (1) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by half a length over 1m1/2f at Bundarra. Nicely placed to find a top-three spot.
