NAFTALI (8) finished 1.3 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at Muswellbrook when resuming from a lay-off as 10/11 favourite. Steps up in distance. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove hard to hold out. TOSINSKY (6) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish second last start over 6f at Tamworth, beaten one length when resuming. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. TAKEOVER LAD (9) was never really in the hunt last time, drifting back early and winding up 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Will find this a little easier than last time. Has winning claims. BRAND NEW MOON (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 20 lengths away in 12th over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast. No surprise to see him in the frame.
