ROO DASH ONE (8) returns from a lay-off of six months and did win when resuming last time in work over 5f at Ballarat Synthetic. Ran fourth in a trial at Avoca over 4f recently. Will be tough to beat. Set Weights EET CITY DANCER (13) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5½f at Kerang, scoring by 2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jake Duffy was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Nicely placed to double the win tally. PEACE BABY (6) got the prize two runs ago at Geelong. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 5½f at Werribee, beaten 5.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. ICHIBERU (9) is coming along nicely this prep, scoring by 1.75 lengths last start over 5f at Bendigo. Solid top-three prospects.
