JACKSON'S SPEAKER (7) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at Fonner Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. SOUTHERN SIG (8) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 5½f at Turf Paradise after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. TAVS SAND DRAKE (2) is back after a break of nine months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Rates highly and is a chance to break through. MAESTRO ITALIANO (1) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Turf Paradise (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths over 5½f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
