BURNING BRIDGES (8) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a nose over 5f at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf). Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Has a wide gate to overcome but he can go on with it. FUNNY FACTOR (5) finished third over 1m in stakes class at Aqueduct Turf (Turf) at his most recent appearance on November 14. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. LIBERTY RISING (10) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at Aqueduct last start after being in the firing line on the bend, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Aqueduct the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ON THE LEDGE (1) comes here off a break of eight months. Scored over 6f at Aqueduct to launch the last campaign. Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from three starts. Worth plenty of thought.
