NEW YORK SCRAPPY (2) started at 2/1 last time on the back of a win at this track (Dirt) two starts ago but was below his best, finishing sixth over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Has the talent to take care of this field. TYPHOON FURY (5) finds it hard to win with two victories from 21 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Has the class to figure prominently. REGISTER (3) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 26 lengths into eighth over 7f at this track. Has a solid second up record. Fitter so expect a better run this time. GOLDEN PLATE (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but was below par last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip after he had settled well back. Finds a nice race and can atone.
