FRIZZANTE (2) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 7 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Steps up a level but he is fitter and good enough to feature. COMMUTED (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 16 lengths when eighth over 1m at this track seven weeks ago. Ricardo Santana Jr gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind him. GLINT (1) was never in contention when 4 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6½f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MARKET MAVEN (5) showed good speed and fought on for second over 1m at this track (Dirt) last time. Among the top-three contenders.
