NATIONAL IDENTITY (4) comes here off a break of five months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6½f at this track. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. LONG POUR (5) broke through for his maiden win over 6f at Saratoga (Dirt) last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. LEO'S REWARD (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6½f at Saratoga, beaten 2.5 lengths. The engagement of Manuel Franco is a positive move. Has the class to take care of this field. UNCLE GEORGE (1) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 3 lengths at Finger Lakes (Dirt) over 6f. Has a solid record at this circuit. Worth considering.
