PATRONAGE (11) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the M J Maker stable. Finished off last campaign with a tenth at Gulfstream Park (Turf) five-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Expected to go close. RAGAZZO D'ORO (5) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten only 0.3 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. DAKOTA COUNTRY (13) is back after a break of ten months. At the last run before the layoff he finished sixth over 1m1/2f at Saratoga (Turf). Leading player on best figures - bold showing expected. IRON MAX (2) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into fourth over 6½f at this track. Fitter so a likely improver.
