RODRIGUEZ (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m1/2f in the G2 San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita (Dirt). Will take advantage of the good draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be underestimated. CAPTAIN COOK (2) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last nine weeks ago when he scored over 1m1f at this track. Is building an excellent record with two wins from three starts. Ideally placed to score. SAND DEVIL (5) was a gutsy winner in a then finished second over 1m in the G3 Gotham Stakes at this track (Dirt) on March 1. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One to consider. HILL ROAD (6) resumed last time out and finished third over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 6 lengths. Must be respected.
