QUICK HAMMER (4) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.75 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. BORRACHO (9) was prominent on the corner and battled on well to finish second last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten one length. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. UNCLE GEORGE (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 7f at this track (Dirt). Will be better for that latest run and he is a major player again. BRACIOLE (10) built on a nice second two starts back at this track (Dirt) with a win over 6½f at this track (Dirt) five weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out.
