LAIRD OF MAGNOLIA (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 9 lengths into eighth. Has the talent to produce a better result. STEEL VENGEANCE (8) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing seventh at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 7f, beaten 6 lengths. Worth following up with that first run out of the way. ARCADIAN (1) wasn't beaten far over 6½f at this track (Dirt) on debut last start and may appreciate the longer journey. Don't underestimate. TAPIZAR'S TEMPER (3) was beaten 14 lengths into fourth in a 1m contest at this track four weeks ago. Well placed to turn things around.
