Was working his way into form and was sent out the public elect last time when successful by a nose over 6f on dirt at Laurel. Tougher assignment this time but a bold showing is expected. NOTHING BETTER (9) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten 0.3 lengths into second over 5½f in stakes class at Colonial Downs (Turf) after being in the firing line all the way. Will need a good ride from Jorge Ruiz off the awkward draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be left out. Group 3 placegetter OUTLAW KID (3) is putting together some solid results. Finished second in Group 3 class at Saratoga (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 2.25 lengths as public elect last time out over 5f in Listed grade at Woodbine. Must raise the bar but another win is not out of the question. ALOGON (8) comes here following a win over 5f at Parx six weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Has a decent record at this venue with a win and two minor placings from three starts. Right in the contest.
