BACKSTRETCH ROSE (9) is having her first run since winning by 2.5 lengths four weeks ago over 1m at Saratoga. Has transferred to the Gary C Contessa stable over the break. Rates highly and expected to go well. PROGENY (5) was unplaced on turf over 1m1/2f at Monmouth Park in a then again couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing tenth over 1m1/2f at Saratoga. Hard to fault if at her best. Big chance to atone. ROMAN GODDESS (3) finds it hard to win with two victories from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at Saratoga, beaten 2 lengths. Nicely placed to test this line-up. STREET JAM (1) resumes from a lay-off of 11 months and is having her first outing under new trainer Linda Rice. Finished fourth at Ellis Park (Turf) over 5½f at the opening run last time in work.
