GENTLEMAN JOE (7) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by one length over 1m at this track (Dirt). CHUCK WILLIS (2) was safely held when third last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to bounce back. EGO MAN (4) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing third over 6½f at Parx (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. HOLDTHEFLIGHT (8) bounced back last start and got the job done by a nose over 1m at this track (Dirt). Well placed to feature in the finish again.
