SPLISH SPLASH (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to get the prize. REVOLUTION RISING (1) settled well back last start and never threatened when 14 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5½f at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and four minor placings. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RIVERINA WALTZ (2) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at this track last start, finishing a nose ahead of the nearest rival. Jessie Philpot was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. TAORMINA DUCHESS (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 12 when beaten 7 lengths into fourth at this track over 5½f. Nicely placed to turn things around.
