MOUGENOT (1) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 5f at this track, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is the testing material. MATRON SAMSING (2) returns after a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic. Now under the care of new trainer Kerry Petrick. Has found the right race. KING BLING (3) held on well to finish second last start over 5f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths when resuming. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot take this out. BOOM SMASH OPERA (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in fifth over 5f at Darwin. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
