ONLY THE BEST (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 6f at this track. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. EASTSIDE DIAMOND (4) resumed four weeks ago over 5½f at this track and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HEBEL (10) is returning from a lay-off of four months. Finished eighth at Sale over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Dan Morgan. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. IL DON CAVALLO (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot.
