KUMICHO (1) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at Bendigo with a win as public elect over 5f185yards at Wangaratta four weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Has the ability to build on that fine effort last start. STARLITE REBEL (8) lifted strongly to score last time with half a length to spare over 6f at this track, making it two in succession. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. CYCLONITE (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at this track, beaten one length. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. SQUARE CUT (3) is starting to prove costly, the latest finishing third at this track, but does go well here. Looks suited and can sneak into the finish again.
