BEYOND READY (4) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when third over 7f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DON'T BE DRAMATIC (6) is a progressive type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Already a three time winner including last start when scoring by 3 lengths over 7f at this track. Races well here and among the leading chances. ONLY THE BEST (10) raced below his best last time when tenth over 7f at Warrnambool, beaten 16 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he good enough to play a major role. BECQUEREL (2) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Stawell, beaten 11 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
