ANNOY'EN ONE (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6f32yards at Hinnomunjie. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. REBILLYOUS (4) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Stony Creek with a win over 6f32yards at Hinnomunjie a week ago, getting home by half a length. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to cope. ANYTHING BUT (6) finished fifth two runs back at Sale then improved last time out to score by 0. 8 lengths as public elect over 1m2 1/2f at Hinnomunjie. Likely to be there at the finish again. DOWNTOWN MAN (3) was beaten 30 lengths into seventh over 1m2f at Colac last time out. Worth noting Melinda McDonald goes aboard. Well placed to bounce back.
