AURORA RISE (10) went back early from her wide draw over 1m2 1/2f in the LR Tasmanian Oaks at Launceston last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Will drift back but is sure to prove tough to beat. BOTTAS (6) drifted back from a good draw last time then wound up strongly to score a nose win over 1m at Wagga. Should be in the finish again. BRUNDEE TOM (7) finished 4 lengths away in eighth last time out over 1m at Wagga two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. One of the contenders with the blinkers added. HELLS SPIRIT (8) broke his maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 1. 5 lengths into third over 1m2f at this track. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be thereabouts.
