CHOICE WITNESS (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Wagga. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 9 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SHEILA (3) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 2.25 lengths win at Wodonga over 5½f. Nick Heywood goes well on this seven-year-old and is back on top. Among the leading chances. READ MY LIPS (5) was on a winning run of two races but last time out finished second over 5f at Echuca. No surprise to see him atone. DITTERICH (7) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten 0.8 lengths, at Moruya over 5f21yards. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
