MIGHTY MYRTLE (5) went back early from her wide draw over 7f at Goulburn last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. EXPLOSIVE ROSIE (9) resumed with a win at this track then missed the placings last time over 6f at Kilmore, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner. Untried over this journey but is very fit so a top-three finish is on the cards. VILLASAURUS (3) has been given a 47 day freshen-up since finishing third at Wagga. Looks to be ticking along well with a recent trial win. Fitter and the blinkers come off. Expected to run well. PERSIAN DANCER (6) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Wagga, beaten 1.3 lengths. Fitter for that run. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
