CABLE DE VEGA (5) showed early speed from an outside draw last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish third, beaten a long neck, over 1m at Werribee. Likely improver with bright prospects. EXTRAVAGANT CHOICE (3) was an impressive winner last time over 1m at Goulburn, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 2 lengths. In form and will take beating again. MISS DEFY (6) scored in a at Parkes but was below her best last time when sixth over 1m2f at Canberra. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. CHAR (4) jumped from a wide gate when resuming last start and finished eighth over 1m at Bendigo. Loves racing here and has managed two wins from four visits. Won't find this as tough. Has to be respected in this company.
