BERNAY (7) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 4½f at this track following a minor placing at Wagga when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Finds a nice race and gets the chance to break through. BLACK PANTHER (1) finished third, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f185yards at Wangaratta after he was in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to go a couple better. KIRREK (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 4½f at this track when resuming after a lay-off. Among the main chances. FUNNY FEELING (9) stepped out for her debut over 5½f at Scone back on September 22 and finished seventh, beaten 10 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
