Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. CAPITAL ROCK (1) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Ballarat over 5f, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be competitive. MISS GABBIANO (7) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Craig Widdison yard. Finished off last campaign with a eighth at Seymour five months ago. Placed in a recent trial and looks nicely placed. Shapes as a top-three chance.
