CRUISE TO RIO (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 1. 75 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f32yards. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HYPERREAL (3) was out of the money but in city grade last time at Ascot and does go well this venue. Meets easier opposition this time. Best form puts him right in this. FOUR SEAS (7) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5½f at Esperance, beaten 2 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. DATE WITHTHE DEVIL (4) is fresh from a lay-off of five months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Pinjarra over 6f. In a different yard now. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Albany.
