RUN PATTIE RUN (6) lines up for the first time since August 14. Looking to emulate her win at Bunbury at the beginning of last prep. Comes here with definite claims. WHIPLASH (9) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Peter Western stable. Hasn't raced since finishing 11th at Sale five-and-a-half months ago. Ran sixth in a trial at Albany over 5f and looks well placed. Bold showing expected. HEZANGELIC (2) is having his first run since August 9. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins from four runs, the most recent over 5f at Pinjarra Scarpside at the start of last prep. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
