VONSNIP (2) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 4 lengths at this track over 6f32yards. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DIVINE MERCY (4) started favourite last time out over 1m at this track but found one better, making it three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Gets a better gate this time so he has solid claims. DOUBLE THUMBS UP (1) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when eighth over 1m2 1/2f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Expect a better run this time.
