On The Nose: Ramure can run away with it at Sedgefield

There’s only one tip feature for the brave and that is Planet Sport’s On The Nose. We’re back with a win-only bet over the jumps at Sedgefield for the in-form Stuart Edmunds on Tuesday, September 28.

A French recruit can bring that je ne sais quoi to a damp Tuesday in the North East.

2.00 Sedgefield- Ramure

Buckinghamshire trainer Stuart Edmunds sends his French bred Ramure the long slog North to Sedgefield with a strong chance. Fuel is in short supply so such a long trip isn't taken lightly.

Edmunds is on a 60% strike rate, having won with three of his last five runners and Ramure, second on her British debut at Fontwell, can go one better in this juvenile maiden hurdle.

Ramure was second to The Yellow Mini at Fontwell with Michael Wigham's filly going on to a solid second, Class 4 placing at Plumpton.

Owners the Holryale Partnership obviously saw enough in the filly's exploits in Northern France to make a purchase and there is the sense that the demure Ramure can take this on the way to better things this winter.
