14.10 Goodwood - Makeinmedoit

Pete reckons Makeinmedoit can get the job done each-way for Harry Eustace in the William Hill Height Of Fashion Stakes.

A distance winner on her penultimate start at Brighton, the Golden Horn filly finished a decent third in the SBK Oaks Trial Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield last time out.
The experienced Hayley Turner gets the ride and here are a few of the reasons that in tips terms this one is making Pete do it.
"Some really good performances at Lingfield and Wolverhampton…and actually over this trip has looked incredibly comfortable. Makeinmedoit, I don't think is definitely going to win this but I think the each-way value is there and this horse will absolutely get into the frame."

13.35 Goodwood - Lawful Command

Course and distance winner Lawful Command has caught Pete's eye in the Goodwood Racecourse Patrons Handicap.

That win over a mile came at the end of April and saw a keeping on showing that put a neck between the Brian Meehan gelding and Wodeton for Andrew Balding in second.
Louis Steward gets the job of policing Lawful Command from the saddle and here is why Pete is listening hard to this Lawful Command.
"Likely to be amongst the favourites but I don't mind. I think this horse is absolutely going to take this despite a three pounds rise."
"That rise came because, was a winner, course and distance at Goodwood last time around. There were some good performances in nurseries towards the end of last year. I think this horse has every chance of going on to take what I think will be a very comfortable victory indeed."

14.45 Goodwood- Montassib

William Haggas is in brilliant form and that can continue with Montassib in the William Hill Pick Your Places Handicap says Pete.

Unbeaten in two starts, the Exceed and Excel gelding most recently took a Wetherby novice stakes in comfortable fashion, winning by two and a half lengths after a break of 598 days.
Talented young jockey Tom Marquand takes the reins and here is a snippet of why Pete thinks that Montassib can prevail.
"Won on debut back in September and then went away for a very long time, returned in April but got the win there as well."

"Loves this trip and I don't see how this horse, in this race can be stopped. Won by two and a half lengths last time, looks comfortable, looks happy and, to be honest, looks way too good for this field."
