Eight of them turn up for this 3m2f handicap chase. Gary Moore-trained Twenty Twenty gets in off a mark of 102 and has to be taken seriously, as does last-time winner Wavecrest, who loves a sound surface.
However, I think the most interesting entrant is Aeronisi, who represents trainer Evan Williams. Adam Wedge takes the mount on a gelding whose dam is closely related to Gold Cup winner Minella Indo.
While that in itself is no guarantee of success, it's interesting what Williams is wasting no time sending his six-year-old over fences.
He made significant improvement on his most recent start, his last one for Tim Vaughan, when he was stepped up to 3m over hurdles. He's got further to travel here and he looks nailed on to get it, based on that last run.
He's fresh and he's on a workable mark and I think he is worth chancing here, with his best days surely being ahead of him.
So to recap, it's Aeronisi in Fontwell's 15:50 on Tuesday.
