Planet Sport tipster Pete Farries is in Salisbury on Friday, September 10...but not because he's visiting the wonderful cathedral, he's got a daily nap for the early evening meeting.

Quickthorn for me in this one. Quite a few people will be looking towards Berkshire Rocco for Andrew Balding, but I like this Hughie Morrison runner.

Three wins from six if you want to get 'general' about the form, this gelding won the Duke Of Edinburgh at Royal Ascot, and that was when shaking off a 13lb penalty after winning at Haydock before that too.
Quickthorn is an absolute monster and I think really underrated generally, and perhaps in this race too.
Quickthorn is not just my favourite bet of Friday, Quickthorn is my favourite bet of the week by a mile.
