My favourite bet on Friday is at Newcastle in the 6.30, and I do like the look here of
Willard Creek.
Now there's plenty in this race trying to make a name for themselves, Wilard Creek ran over this course and distance in a maiden a couple of weeks ago, ran really well finishing second. No one was catching Wild Lion that day, went off as odds on favourite and went on to win well as expected.
Willard Creek ran well that day, and I expect more this time around. Was third on debut at Redcar a few weeks back as well, you get the feeling that
Willard Creek piece by piece for David Baron is beginning to creep towards a first win.
Just the one win for the yard over the last couple of weeks,
Willard Creek winning would be very welcome indeed.
