Planet Sport tipster Jonathan Doidge's Friday nap runs at Ascot, where a tough race could ensure that we get a good price for Brave Seasca.
13.45 Ascot - Brave Seasca
There's some cracking racing for us on Friday, when for my nap I'm going to head to Ascot, where it's day one of the Howden Christmas Racing Weekend.
The tip goes in the Howden Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (13.45), over two miles and a furlong. It looks to be a competitive field, so the price about the nap may well hold up.
It goes by the name of Brave Seasca, trained by Venetia Williams and ridden by Gavin Sheehan. He was comfortably beaten first time out this season at Chepstow but that race has worked out well. Underlining that, he came out and won by 10-lengths at Warwick last time.
He gets in with a 7lb penalty here but he is due to go up a further 5lb, giving him the look of a well treated horse.
