York racing tip (1500): Sacred has what it takes to dethrone Kinross

Kinross is the bookmaker's favourite here and we know this is a classy horse whose chances are only enhanced by Frankie Dettori being given the ride.

He won four consecutive races from August through October last year, a run which started by landing this very race 12 months ago.

Sacred is most likely to ask questions based on current form, which includes a pair of impressive seconds and wins at Lingfield and Newbury.

Isaac Shelby has received some backing, particularly on Tipstrr, and has already made very light work of this trip when winning at Newbury in April.

However, it's worth noting Kinross always had the measure of him late on at Goodwood and looked like he had more to give as he crossed the line.

Mutasabeeq, Al Suhail, Olivia Maralda, Covey and Audience can't be discounted, particularly the latter who has been improving, but they all have some work to do.

Sacred is a popular pick on Tipstrr and looks like the horse best placed to challenge Kinross.
