Wednesday racing tips for Southwell and Kempton

Planet Sport's tipsters have a wide range of top selections for Wednesday's racing on February 8.

14:05 (Southwell) Here We Have It

Laura Morgan repeatedly shows that with the right ammunition she is a very capable trainer.
She runs Here We Have It off top weight in the Vickersbet.com Handicap Chase at Southwell and there is every chance he can follow up a course and distance win from early December.
He meets the runner-up Treshnish on 4lb worse terms, but Sue Smith's charge had a 3lb conditional on board that day who is replaced by Brian Hughes this time.

15:40 (Southwell) Sedge Wren

Stuart Edmunds had a slow first half of the campaign but his horses are running into form.
His Sedge Wren was an easy winner on her hurdling debut in October and can defy a penalty in the Cazoo Mares' Novices' Hurdle

19:30 (Kempton) Rooful

On the same card, it is Eve Johnson Houghton's Rooful who looks set to continue a great run of form in the Join Racing TV Now Fillies' Handicap.
The five-year-old has enjoyed a purple patch since autumn, winning three of her four starts over seven furlongs at Kempton and suffering only one loss when the runner up at the same track over a mile.
The winner on the latter occasion has won four times since, boosting Rooful's hopes of another all-weather success when returned to a mile against her own sex.

20:00 (Kempton) Earl of Tyrone

At Kempton there is an interesting runner in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Conditions Stakes as Earl Of Tyrone makes his debut for William Haggas.
The chestnut was previously trained in Ireland by Paddy Twomey and has a Listed win and an Ebor third under his belt from that spell.
Though he will be making his debut on the all-weather at Kempton, an entry in a fast-track qualifier for the All Weather Finals Day suggests confidence in this route and under Haggas' care he cannot be overlooked.
